Foster Care Case Managers (Part-Time)

Salary:    $16.13 per hour

Part-time positions available for experienced counselors to provide support services to foster care children and foster families.  Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or human services and a minimum of one year experience providing counseling services to youth and families required. Strong background in providing individual and family counseling necessary.  Case management and foster care experience preferred.  Duties will include case management, parent support, creating and monitoring treatment planning and services, coordinating treatment services such as medical, social, and educational programs and facilitating team meetings.

Salary:    $12.31 per hour

Part-time position, 20 hours per week, 9AM-1PM M-F. Graduation from high school or equivalent and 3-5 years of experience performing clerical work required. Duties include billing; data entry; filing. Must have strong grammatical/spelling skills for proofreading and editing reports. Proficiency and accuracy in MS Outlook and Word essential, intermediate-level experience in Excel required. Must be able to provide excellent customer service and maintain confidential information. Time management skills (organization, prioritizing, flexibility) and attention to detail are a must. Must be able to multi-task and work as part of a team, yet be assertive and work in a fast-paced environment.

Full-time position, excellent benefits. To provide direct supervision, case management and individual, group & family counseling to at-risk adolescents in a residential group home for boys. Evening/weekend shifts required. Ideal candidate is competency-based, flexible, a strong team player, has worked in residential care and has counseling experience. 1 year experience working with at-risk youth and bachelor’s degree in human services or counseling field required.

Counseling of families in the home, travel in own vehicle required; flexible schedule required including weekday evenings.  Experience in family counseling and counseling model, home visit experience, knowledge of juvenile court system preferred. Human services degree and 1 year experience with troubled youth required, with families preferred. Mileage paid.

TYSC is recruiting for relief counselors in all of our residential facilities, to provide counseling and supervision to adolescents. Work is on an as-needed basis, serving as relief for regular staff. Some evenings/weekends required. Experience with troubled youth preferred.
